Timeline is a 2003 science fiction action film, directed by Richard Donner. It stars Paul Walker, Frances O'Connor, Billy Connolly, David Thewlis, Gerard Butler and Anna Friel. It is based on the novel of the same name by Michael Crichton. Jerry Goldsmith was originally set to score, which would have been Goldsmith's last score before his death in 2004, but was replaced by Brian Tyler, after being rejected by Donner due to post-production complications.
