The Clique is a direct-to-DVD film based on the popular teen novel series by author Lisi Harrison. The film is produced by Alloy Entertainment, released through Tyra Banks' company Bankable Productions and is a production of Warner Premiere with Tyra Banks as executive producer. Filming began in February 2008 in Rhode Island and ended in March 2008. The film was released on November 18, 2008. The movie was partially filmed at Portsmouth Abbey School in Portsmouth, RI
