The Circle is a 1925 film directed by Frank Borzage. The film stars Eleanor Boardman, Malcolm McGregor, Alec B. Francis and Joan Crawford on an early role. It is written by Kenneth B. Clarke based on the play by W. Somerset Maugham. The 1921 Broadway play had starred John Drew, Jr. and Mrs. Leslie Carter and was the last time Drew appeared on the New York stage. The film survives today in excellent condition.
