Skee-Lo was born in Chicago IL, and has been performing and recording songs since the age of nine. In the late 70's Skee-Lo moved to New York city & was fortunate to experience Hip Hop in its early days. Skee-Lo was influenced by artist like Krs-1, Rakim, Michael Jackson & Stevie Wonder.
