Sam Watters (born 23 July 1970 in Camp Springs, Maryland) is an American songwriter and record producer, previously of the early 1990s group Color Me Badd. He co-wrote many of their songs, including three #1 hit singles: "I Wanna Sex You Up," "I Adore Mi Amor" and "All 4 Love." On December 6, 2007, Watters was nominated for a 50th Annual Grammy Award Best Song for his songwriting credits on "When I See U." He has been nominated 6 times (3 with Color Me Badd). In September 2006, he married former American Idol contestant Tamyra Gray, his girlfriend of two years, with whom he wrote "I Believe".
