Howard Peter Guber (born March 1, 1942 in Boston, Massachusetts) is an American film producer and executive. Chairman and CEO of Mandalay Entertainment. Films he personally produced or executive produced, including Rain Man, Batman, The Color Purple, Midnight Express, Gorillas in the Mist: The Story of Dian Fossey, The Witches of Eastwick, Missing and Flashdance, have earned over three billion dollars worldwide and 50 Academy Award nominations. Guber is also a minority owner of the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
