Bloom and Dunst got "close" on the set of Elizabethtown in 2004 but he was seeing Kate Bosworth and she was involved with Jake Gyllenhaal so the timing was "off". Not so a year later when Bloom was on a break from Bosworth and ambiguously declared "If you want to screw around, it's your choice and you accept it when you're caught."
