No Such Thing (Icelandic release title: Skrímsli) is a joint United States/Icelandic film that was released in 2001 and was directed by Hal Hartley. It tells the story of Beatrice (Sarah Polley), a tabloid journalist whose fiancé is killed by a monster in Iceland.
