Lew Cody, birth name Louis Joseph Côté (Born: February 22, 1884 to French parents in Waterville, Maine - Died: May 21, 1934 Beverly Hills, California) was an American actor whose career spanned the silent film and early sound film age. He originally studied to be a doctor but abandoned the idea of setting up in practise and became an actor. He started off on the stage but later went into films, with The Mating being his first.
