La notte (The Night) is a 1961 Italian film directed by Michelangelo Antonioni. It is considered the central film of a trilogy beginning with L'avventura and ending with L'eclisse. The film won the Golden Bear award at the 11th Berlin International Film Festival, and critically acclaimed film director Stanley Kubrick listed it as one of his top 10 favourite films.
