Gail Russell and John Wayne

In 1953 John Wayne`s wife Esperanza sued him for divorce and named Gail a homewrecker. Gail was seperated from Guy Madison at the time. This situation caused Gail to have a nervous breakdown and she was institutionalized for psychiatric treatment.
