Darren Hayes and Richard Cullen

Hayes entered into a civil partnership with his boyfriend of three years, Richard Cullen, on 19 June 2006 in London. In keeping with his usual practice of not talking about his sexual orientation, he did not announce the civil partnership until 17 July 2006, when the information appeared on his official website. Before the announcement of their civil union, Cullen`s name had only appeared on the website as the designer of the cover for Hayes` single "So Beautiful".
